Using SURF to find films on DVD

First, enter search terms into the search box. Select the title or view the "Available" information to see the film's location in the library.

Next, make note of the film's location.

This one is in the Film Studies Reserve Collection and its number is #189. Bring this information to the Library Services Desk on the first floor to obtain this film.

Lastly, some films are in the Leisure Film collection on the first floor. If a film's location information indicates this, consult the map below to retrieve it.

DVDs are located on the first floor

Films on DVD are located in two collections on the first floor of the Academic Commons. 

  • The Film Studies Collection is located behind the Library Service Desk. 
  • All other films on DVD are located in the Newspapers, Leisure Reading, and DVDs shelf in the Research Commons (otherwise known as "The Pit")
