Requests:
Librarians respond to instruction requests within 48 hours of receipt.
Requests for instruction should be submitted at least two weeks in advance.
Course instructors are strongly encouraged to be present at the instruction session.
Rooms:
Classrooms 162, 163, & 117 are designated for library instruction and as student study spaces when events are not scheduled.
Faculty may reserve 163 for individual events if library instruction is not already scheduled.
Teaching:
When possible, library instruction should be tailored to help students address research assignment needs.
When possible, library instruction sessions should be supplemented with a Libguide, and survey.
Librarians review each one-shot they teach using the Instruction Survey for Students.
