Country Studies (loc.gov)
"Contains the electronic versions of 80 books previously published in hard copy as part of the Country Studies Series by the Federal Research Division. Intended for a general audience, books in the series present a description and analysis of the historical setting and the social, economic, political, and national security systems and institutions of select countries throughout the world. Most books in the series deal with a single foreign country, but a few cover several countries or a geographic region. The series includes several books on countries that no longer exist in their original configuration—such as Czechoslovakia, East Germany, the Soviet Union, Sudan, and Yugoslavia. These books remain in the series because they continue to offer valuable historical information and perspective. In some cases, studies on successor states are also part of the series."

CIAO - Columbia International Affairs Online
Check out content under "Country Data & Maps" (select from left side of the page), which provides data collected from the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). From there, type your country in the search bar. Results include maps, country overviews and outlooks; and economic and political reports. Tip: sort results by year to see most current information first.
Kanopy Streaming Video
This on-demand streaming video service provides access to films covering a variety of disciplines, including global studies and business. Try searching for "(Your country) business" or "(Your country) culture" to view videos on business practices and country demographics.
Access Country Reports through the "Browse" tab. You can view information from Economic Intelligence Unit (EIU) ViewsWire, OxResearch Daily Brief Service, and OxResearch Country Profiles.
Under Reports, select Country Reports. Then choose "Show more country reports." Country reports are divided by region: Americas & Caribbean; Europe & Central Asia; South Asia; East Asia & Pacific; Middle East & North Africa; Sub-Saharan Africa. At the bottom of this page is a description of the methodology behind these reports, as well as a FAQ section. When you choose a country report to view, you will see a brief description and an option to download the PDF report.
