HLTH 315: Community Nutrition: Introduction

Welcome to the research guide for HLTH 315: Community Nutrition. This guide is intended to assist students as they complete the research assignments for this course (linked below).

For both the brochure and the education session assignments, you'll need to incorporate several reliable sources to support the claims you'll be making. These sources can and should be a combination of both scholarly (peer-reviewed journal articles) and non-scholarly (websites, statistics) sources and evaluated for their appropriateness for the assignments. This research guide will help you locate both scholarly and non-scholarly health information sources, as well as methods of evaluating information to ensure it would be appropriate for the assignment.

If you or your group need assistance at any point in your research process, please don't hesitate to reach out to the Public Health librarian (information listed to the left).
