HLTH 315: Community Nutrition: Introduction

Case Study 1: Beatrice, the community nutritionist (RD), was asked to help improve teenager’s health and fitness status. Specifically, she was employed to provide nutrition education programs to a group of pregnant teenagers attending high school in a Mid-Western city of 200,000 people. The focus of this writing assignment will be attempting to determine the most efficacious use of taxpayers’ money in regards to utilizing the services of a Registered Dietician to help improve teenager’s health and fitness status, specifically that of pregnant teens.
