Books are going to be helpful for this project because many scholars write books as overviews of a larger topic. Some books are written by one scholar on a topic in which they are an expert. Some books are edited collections that include different views on a topic. Often, books will be helpful to provide background or theoretical information.
This SURF search box is the same as the one you can find on the Library Homepage. Just type in the title, author, or keywords directly into the box for a quick search. This will take you to a new screen featuring all of the SU Libraries catalog results for what you searched, which you can filter and refine to best fit your search needs. eBooks should show up in the catalog with links directly to how you can access them, which will differ by each text.
After searching in SURF, select the "physical items" limiter (left) to find print materials.
If you find a physical book, it will have something called a call number. The call number is like its home address. Copy and paste any call number into the Call Number Locator below to see where it lives in the library. A call number will look something like this:
