Introduction
In 2003, the Library Student Advisory Committee suggested that the library create a separate, highly visible collection of current leisure reading books for students. The collection was created that year, and has thrived ever since. In the Guerrieri Academic Commons our Leisure Collection and is located in the "Pit", with additional titles correspondingly highlighted and displayed on top of the leisure bookshelves.
The Leisure Reading Collection (LRC) provides current fiction and non-fiction books for students, faculty, and staff to read for fun and relaxation, as a break from (class) work and assignments.
