ECED 251 Course Description

Emphasizes family-school-community partnerships that promote children’s ability to develop and learn. Examines family systems and their roles in the development of young children. Explores many of the challenges faced by today’s diverse families and identifies collaboration and involvement practices to meet their needs. Focuses on ethical behavior and professional responsibilities as they relate to young children, their families and communities.
