1. Get the facts (tertiary sources: encyclopedias, almanacs, chronologies, etc)
2. Older, established info (library catalog: books)
3. Specific scholarly "conversations" (library databases: journal articles)
4. Sources are evidence (source citation: MLA 8, RefWorks)
5. Drafts & revisions (research librarians & learning commons)
