A guide to help students who are developing philosophical reading, writing, and thinking skills.

Philosophy ProSeminar

This is a course for students who plan to pursue a major or a minor in philosophy. It is devoted to developing philosophical reading, writing, and thinking skills to prepare students for upper-level courses in the discipline. Students will practice these skills on a wide range of pieces of philosophy, learning to recognize philosophical problems in texts and to construct sound arguments on philosophical questions.
