Emerging from the pandemic - "Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true"
Beginning independent research in graduate schools can be a daunting experience by itself. Add a pandemic to it...and things get messier with teleworking, homeschooling children, taking care of family members and there's only 24 hours in a day! Graduate students are often in that transition period — their experiences will be very different whether they are coming straight from undergrad or have been in the work force for years and now going back to school. As such, graduate students have to make adjustments and have unique needs.
In order to be successful in graduate school, you need to be aware of your strengths and skills. You will also need the right tools. So spread out your wings and get ready to soar. The sky is the limit.
"It’s okay to get butterflies in your stomach; the key is to learn how to make them fly in information.” ― Georges St- Pierre

While conducting research at the graduate level, you will need to use the library resources and services. You need to learn using the databases so that you can do an effective literature review as well as export articles to a citation management software. Check out this guide that provides a lot of useful library related information.
