This guide should help you:
Choose any full-length article from a science journal or library database. This should be an entire article - not a summary that is only a couple of paragraphs. Print the article and then read it, taking notes on the main points or highlighting on the article pages.
The article must be from within the last year.
If you have a topic that is extremely outdated,
please check with Professor Gunther about your chosen article!
If you are reading something that says ".....in an article published in the journal...." you have a summary - not the actual article!
Read the entire article and then read it again taking good notes and. highlighting the main points.
Write a 1-2 page typed report using the structure below. You can use the pre-set parameters when you open MS Word. Each paragraph should be at least 5-7 well-written and complete sentences. Use correct grammar, punctuation, and mechanics.
Hand in the report, this sheet, and the entire article - not a clean copy - the one you highlighted or took notes on.
