This library workshop intends to help you to effectively and efficiently find the best sources for your work. My goals to help you are listed in the box on the lest side.
When working with graduate students, I never assume your library familiarity and research prowress. I do assume that you are already terrific at searching, accessing, evaluating, analyzing, and incorporating information sources, but I take care to not assume that you know where everything is here at SU.
Familiarization, orientation, and review are the big reasons why we are here right now.
During this library workshop, we will use the following example research question to practice searching and locating sources.
Research question: "Does the coverage of protests by journalism and news impact public perception of the movements?"
