Basic Tips on Presenting

Practice, practice, practice. It is important to go into a presentation with a strategy for getting your message across to your audience. Not only do you have a message to present, but you have a set time to do it within. Making it all fit with maximum effect requires planning and practice.

Use visual aids to prompt your talking points, don't put your talking points on your visual aids.

Make eye contact with your audience. It's okay to refer to notes to stay on track, but reading your presentation from notes or your own visual aids is a no-no.
