The library has a good collection in health sciences. For your needs, you may be looking at some basic sciences and biology books as well. Check out this step-by-step tutorial to learn how to find books in the library. Books in our library are arranged using Library of Congress Classification. The books you can check out are located on the third floor of the library. If you ever have trouble finding a book you want, PLEASE ask for help at the Research Help Desk!
Books can be searched in two ways:
After checking the library catalog if you find out that we don't have the book that you are looking for, we can still get it from one of the other USMAI libraries.
Remember you need to choose your campus (for ex. USM Hagerstown, Shady Grove) as your pick-up location.
If it is a book that SU Libraries has in it's collection, then you'll need to request it through interlibrary loan form! We will send the book to to your home address. Again, check out the Distance Library Services guide (Getting Articles and More tab) for more information.
** If all this sounds confusing, please contact Natasha Finnegan (nefiInnegan@salisbury.edu) or Amy Jones (firstname.lastname@example.org), and they can help you.
