Welcome!

Welcome to the guide created for our distance education patrons

Blackwell Library is committed to providing a full range of library resources and equitable services to SU patrons who do not always visit our campus and are primarily designated as distance students or faculty.

Often distance students feel disconnected from the main campus. We would like to assure you that help is just a phone call or a click away!

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions.

In this guide you will find useful information pertaining to distance library services. As the Distance Library Services Coordinator, I am your main contact person for all things libraries. If I cannot answer your question, I'll put you in touch with someone who can including a liaison in your subject area. If you call the Research Help Desk or the Circulation Desk, they might be able to help with your questions as well.

Accessing the library remotely

A library barcode (ID/barcode) login will be required for off-campus access to many library resources/services. Your barcode is the 14 digit number on the back of your SU GULL CARD.

To find your barcode, log into your GullNet account (www.salisbury.edu/gullnet/) and from the menu options, click on 'Library Barcode' and your 14 digit number will display.
