    Assignment and research approach

    Sometimes, a structured approach to research can help to organize ideas and the way you think about information sources:

    1. Explore topic basics and develop keywords (casual searching)
    2. Quantitative Research (websites) (Using exact search with quotation marks)
    3. Research (library databases) (Using operators AND OR NOT)
    4. Support your argument (cite reliable sources) (export to refworks)
    5. Drafts & revisions (research librarians & learning commons)
